Nowadays, Tretinoin cream is extensively used to treat acne. It may reduce the number and severity of acne pimples and encourage immediate curing of pimples that do develop. It recovers the manifestation of the skin by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, reducing unevenness and improves skin color.

Mechanism of action Tretinoin:

Tretinoin belongs to a class of medications known as retinoids. It encourages the removal of cornified cells and the increases the detaching of corneocytes from the follicle. By escalating the mitotic activity of follicular epithelia, it also enhances the yield rate of thin, loosely-adherent corneocytes. Due to these actions, the comedo contents are extruded and the development of the microcomedo, the precursor lesion of acne vulgaris, is reduced.
