This creates hindrance in the creation of bacterial protein and causes the death of the bacteria. Dexamethasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids. It produces anti-inflammatory effects on the eyes by blocking the release and creation of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandin, leukotriene etc.

Dosing regimen of Toba DM:

Toba DM consists of 3mg of Tobramycin and 1mg of Dexamethasone in per ml of the ophthalmic solution. Wash the hands and face before utilizing ophthalmic solution. Subsequently, tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelids to craft a pouch. Now, hold the dropper directly over the eyes and instill 1 or 2 drops of Toba DM into the conjunctival sac(s) every 4 to 6 hours.
